Nestled in Chester, Nova Scotia, this summer cottage is just a stone’s throw from the Chester Yacht Club and the Atlantic Ocean. All the village amenities are within walking distance. The Tancook Islands, Mahone Bay & Lunenburg make great nearby day trips.

Originally built in the late 1930’s by the owner of Owl’s Head Tuna Camp (a fishing lodge in East Chester), it has more recently been owned by Montreal’s Birks’ family. Now it has landed back to local ownership.

Socializing is a priority in this oversized kitchen. Cocktails are a must at the wet bar (or a great location for rainy day Netflix binging). Sun streams into the front porch and living room – nights can be enjoyed by the fire. All three bedrooms have their own special character, complete with water views. Privacy is ensured with two full baths. Parking is onsite for one car and a gated fence encloses the property.
